Dr. Momodu is board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, General Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. He has worked in both Acute, ambulatory, partial hospital, school based and community-based programs. He completed medical school in Nigeria, his residency in Psychiatry at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, NY and Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He maintains a Master of Public in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Tulane University in New Orleans, and a Master of Business Administration and Management from Stockton University in New Jersey. He is a board member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention New Jersey Chapter. He believes that effectively communicating is essential to both good treatment and good teaching. He practices from the standpoint of collaborative treatment with parents and children or teens themselves. He believes that if given the right information parents can make appropriate decisions regarding the well-being of their children.
